Privacy Policy

Effective date July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Duebase (“Duebase,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Duebase mobile application (the “App”). Duebase is a local-first personal organization app for tracking subscriptions, documents, insurance, warranties, memberships, vehicle-related items, and other dates that may expire, renew, or require attention.

Information you add to Duebase

Depending on how you use the App, you may add information such as item names and categories, subscription prices and billing frequencies, renewal and expiration dates, reminder preferences, notes, insurance or warranty details, vehicle-related information, attachments or documents, and app preferences such as currency, categories, and notification settings.

Local-first storage

Duebase stores your tracked items and related information locally on your device unless a future cloud, backup, or synchronization feature is explicitly enabled by you. The core experience does not require you to create an account. Because local data lives on your device, deleting the App, resetting or losing the device, or clearing application data may permanently remove your information unless you have created a backup through an available App or device feature.

Information we do not intend to collect

Duebase does not need access to your bank account, payment-card details, Apple Account password, Google Account password, or third-party subscription credentials to provide its core tracking functionality, and it does not automatically cancel, renew, or pay third-party subscriptions on your behalf. Please avoid entering passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, or other confidential credentials in free-text fields.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase Duebase Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google through their respective app stores. Duebase uses RevenueCat to help manage purchase status, entitlements, restoration, and paywall functionality. RevenueCat and the applicable app store may process information such as an anonymous or platform-associated app user identifier, product identifiers, purchase and subscription status, transaction and receipt information, store, country, currency, and pricing details, and technical information needed to validate or restore purchases. Duebase does not receive your full payment-card details — Apple and Google control payment processing and store-account billing information.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Duebase may use device notification permissions and locally scheduled notifications to remind you about upcoming dates. Delivery depends on your device settings, operating system, permissions, time zone, and platform behavior. Duebase does not upload the content of locally scheduled reminders to a Duebase server for the core local-first experience.

Device and diagnostic information

The App, its platform, or third-party services may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or improve the App — such as app version, device type and operating-system version, language, region, and time zone, purchase and entitlement status, and crash or diagnostic information if diagnostic tools are enabled. We do not use this information to read the personal contents of the items you store locally unless you explicitly submit that information for support or use a feature that clearly requires transmission.

Attachments and documents

Receipts, images, or documents you attach are stored locally on your device unless the App clearly indicates that a cloud or backup feature is being used. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store any attachment you add and for securing access to your device.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared or processed only in limited circumstances: with Apple or Google to distribute the App and handle purchases, subscriptions, and refunds; with RevenueCat to manage purchase validation, entitlements, offerings, paywalls, and restoration; with technical service providers if diagnostic, support, or infrastructure services are enabled; and where required to comply with law or to protect users, the App, our rights, or the public. Any future feature that uploads or synchronizes your personal Duebase items will be described in an updated policy and in the App.

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you edit, delete, archive, or clear it, or uninstall the App. You can delete individual items in the App, or remove all local Duebase information by using an in-app reset or by deleting the App and its local data. Deleting local App data does not cancel an active store subscription — subscriptions must be managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Purchase and transaction records may be retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat under their own legal and operational requirements.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the App. However, no device, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device, using device passcodes or biometrics where appropriate, and maintaining backups when available.

International processing

Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and other service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies, contractual safeguards, and applicable laws.

Children's privacy

Duebase is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by applicable local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the core local-first App experience. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address the request.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Because most Duebase content is stored locally, you can usually access, edit, and delete that information directly on your device. For requests involving information held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat, you may also need to contact the relevant provider.

Third-party privacy policies

Third-party services used with Duebase maintain their own privacy policies. You should review the policies of Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and any other service you choose to use with the App. Duebase is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Duebase evolves or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show an updated effective date, and if a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we will provide notice when reasonably required.
