Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Duebase (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using Duebase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
About Duebase
Duebase is a personal organization app that helps users track subscriptions, documents, insurance policies, warranties, vehicle-related items, memberships, licenses, and other dates or renewals that may require attention. It is an organizational tool only — it does not process subscription payments, renew documents, cancel third-party services, provide insurance coverage, or act on your behalf with any third party.
Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use Duebase. If you use the App on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
User responsibilities
You are responsible for entering accurate information into Duebase, confirming renewal, expiration, billing, and cancellation dates directly with the relevant provider, reviewing notifications and reminders in a timely manner, maintaining access to your device and any backups you choose to create, and using the App in compliance with applicable laws. Reminders are provided for convenience — you should not rely on the App as the sole source for legal, financial, medical, insurance, travel, or compliance deadlines.
Free and Pro features
Duebase may offer both free and paid features. The free version may include limits on the number of items or access to certain functionality. Duebase Pro may include additional features such as unlimited items, custom reminder schedules, expanded insights, attachments, backup tools, or other premium functionality described in the App. Features and limits may change over time, and material changes will be communicated when reasonably required.
Purchases
Duebase may offer a monthly plan — an automatically renewing subscription billed at the price shown in the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase — and lifetime access — a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks the features described as included with lifetime access at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, and store pricing rules. The store price displayed at checkout controls.
Automatic renewal and cancellation
Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting Duebase does not cancel an active subscription, and Duebase cannot directly cancel a store subscription on your behalf.
Restore purchases
Eligible purchases may be restored using the Restore Purchases option in the App. Restoration depends on the Apple Account or Google Account used for the original purchase and the applicable store rules.
Refunds
Payments are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are governed by the policies of the store through which the purchase was made. Duebase does not directly process store refunds.
Local storage and data loss
Duebase is designed as a local-first app. Depending on the version and features enabled, your tracked items, dates, notes, preferences, and attachments may be stored locally on your device. Unless a backup or synchronization feature is explicitly enabled, deleting the App, resetting the device, losing the device, or clearing application data may permanently remove locally stored information. You are responsible for maintaining any backups made available through the App or your device platform.
Notifications and reminders
Notifications may be affected by device settings, operating-system restrictions, battery settings, time-zone changes, permissions, or technical errors. Duebase does not guarantee that every reminder will be delivered at a particular time or at all. You remain responsible for independently verifying important dates and obligations.
Third-party services
Duebase may rely on third-party services, including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and platform-level services used for purchases, purchase validation, diagnostics, or distribution. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Duebase is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Duebase for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes; attempt to bypass purchase restrictions or access paid features without authorization; reverse engineer, interfere with, damage, or disrupt the App, except where applicable law expressly permits such activity; upload or store content you do not have the right to use; or use the App in a way that violates the rights of others.
Intellectual property
Duebase, including its software, visual design, branding, and original content, is owned by its developer or licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Duebase or its intellectual property to you. You retain ownership of the information you enter into the App.
Availability and changes
Duebase may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. We may add, remove, or change features to improve the App, comply with legal requirements, or respond to technical or business needs. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Disclaimer
Duebase is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, insurance, travel, or professional advice. Information shown in the App, including calculated dates, costs, or reminders, may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be independently verified.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Duebase and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from missed renewals or expiration dates, automatic subscription charges, cancelled or lapsed coverage, travel or document issues, loss of locally stored data, missed or delayed notifications, reliance on information entered into or displayed by the App, or third-party services or purchases. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid for Duebase during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by law.
Termination
You may stop using Duebase at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the App, attempt to bypass paid access, or create risk for the App or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, limitation-of-liability, and dispute provisions.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will include a revised effective date. Continued use of Duebase after an update means you accept the revised Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
Apple-specific terms
When Duebase is downloaded through Apple's App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, maintenance, support, or warranties, except as required by applicable law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as they relate to your use of the App. Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement where relevant.
